Traditionally the Ford ST/RS models have always been available only with a manual transmission. Since Ford is discontinuing cars in the USA, we will soon lose the chance to enjoy that in the new models. However, with Ford adding performance SUVs to the lineup, we request them to consider adding manual transmission options to those models. For example, the Ford Edge ST (or RS) with a manual transmission would not only be unique in the US market, but would attract a lot of enthusiasts back to the Ford brand. A manual performance SUV would be a dream come true, especially with AWD. Driving it would be a lot of fun, especially in the snow.

This idea of adding a manual transmission on a potential future Ford Edge RS was also recently brought up by Ed Krenz, chief functional engineer for Ford Performance, and we really hope he can make it happen! Please sign to show your support!
