Force Lancashire Police to answer a simple question

The Issue

Lancashire Police have been asked to investigate a crime of Malicious Communications.

A person (who was branded a 'hate filled web troll' in the national press), intentionally and maliciously posted grossly offensive comments on the Internet calling an innocent man a paedophile, he posted photographs of the man, posted his phone number and address.

That innocent man is me!

I am simply asking you to sign this petition if you agree to this question:

‘Do you perceive it a crime to call an innocent man a paedophile and post it on the internet with his photograph, his name, address and phone number?‘

If you DO perceive this to be a crime, please sign, that is your way of saying YES, I see this as a crime.

Lancashire Police (against all case law and the Malicious Communications Act itself) stated that it is not a crime.  the reason for this is, if they did agree it was a crime, they would be forced to charge and prosecute the man who posted the comments.  This man of Skelmersdale is a Police Informer and of 'significant value' to the Police so they do not want to lose him as an asset, this is the only reason they will not give me justice.

The man in the photograph is DI Martin Melvin.  He was the Inspector who refused to answer the question and therefore refused to bring charges.

Just before this photograph, Martin Melvin assaulted me in Ormskirk Police station and and is awaiting trial for this assault.
