He had the nerve to lie to me, claiming that the city does not even own the land that they illegally acquired in the flawed land swap.

Hey Carl, thanks for the shout. Can't say I've heard any movement on the idea of this reroute. As far as I know, it remains only that: an idea. 

Am I right in recalling the trail is all Forest Service, not city? If so, I would not expect any movement in the foreseeable future. I know the district ranger is heavily focused on fire mitigation projects, not recreation.
