Barr Trail Future

Hello,

I would like to thank Mr. Steve Bremner for initiating a public discussion about the first 2 miles of the Barr Trail.

It is my understanding that it would be possible to repair that section of the trail, and the city has shown that it can get grants for trail repairs.

I would like the City Council of Colorado Springs to provide us with the following information.

A new trail would be at least partly on Forest Service land, would the USFS prefer that we build a new trail, or repair the existing one?

How much would it actually cost to fully repair the first 2 miles of the Barr Trail?
