For the People, By the People: A Call to Uphold Our Values

The Issue

My fellow Americans,

In just weeks, we have seen deeply troubling actions from the executive office. A rogue billionaire, Elon Musk, has been illegally granted access to our financial and personal data. While the President has bypassed the will of the voters by signing executive orders that strip power from the people and violate our Constitution.

To those who voted for Trump—I know you did so out of hope, not hate. You believed in a stronger, more prosperous America. You trusted that our system of checks and balances would prevent any leader from abusing power. But now, I urge you to look beyond rhetoric and see what’s truly happening—not just here, but globally. The Constitution and our laws must apply to all, regardless of wealth or status.

Elon Musk has bought influence in this administration, funding Trump’s campaign far beyond what most Americans earn in a lifetime. In return, Trump has handed control of key government functions to his wealthiest backers. No president in history has done this—because it is fundamentally un-American. Trump believes he is above limits, above accountability, above the people. This defies the very foundation of our democracy.

Past presidents, despite criticism, upheld their duty to defend the Constitution. Even Nixon, disgraced by scandal, accepted accountability. Yet today, dissenters are silenced, critics are removed, and independent media is pushed aside. We must ask ourselves: Why? What are they afraid of?

I know Americans didn’t vote for mass deportations costing taxpayers roughly $1 Million flight , for critical health data to be erased, or for soaring prices. You didn’t vote for a nation that resembles authoritarian regimes more than the beacon of freedom the world has always looked to.

If America isn’t great, why does the world depend on us? Why do nations turn to us for leadership, aid, and stability? Why did the entire world anxiously watch our election? Because America’s greatness has never depended on one man—it has always come from its people.

Now, we must reclaim our power by impeaching Trump and removing Elon Musk’s access from all branches and departments of our government!

True greatness comes from upholding our values, protecting our freedoms, and ensuring that no leader—no matter how wealthy or powerful—can take them away. Signing this petition is a start, but I encourage everyone to contact their Senators and Representatives. Whether it be through call or letter. I encourage you to post and submit your words to any and all media that will listen.

Let our voices be loud and clear. Let’s stand together and truly Make America Great Again!
