Today we have taken another small but big step. We now have a motion to protect dolphins, belugas and killer whales in our country, because Spain continues being the largest dolphin prison in all of Europe. Thanks to your more than 100,000 signatures, today the PSOE has registered this motion in the Senate.

It is a proposal similar to the one that many countries have made. Countries such as Germany, Finland, Switzerland, Norway, United Kingdom, Poland, Iceland, Cyprus, Slovenia, Croatia, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Chile or India.

If Spain wants to be a leader in the ecological transition, what better way to show its leadership by banning dolphin parks in Spain. Which would be a very symbolic step for the Spanish Government, for all animals in captivity, and of course for all of you who have signed this petition, since it would create a new relationship with nature and living beings. A new relationship of respect instead of exploitation.
