Xylitol is in many foods now including chewing gum,peanut butter and many others.Many dogs are dying from picking up and eating chewing gum off the pavement,being given peanut butter containing it,and other food stuffs.

Something that toxic should not be in our food.It causes Hypoglycemia and can cause death of treatment is not swift.It is also not recommended for diabetics and yet is often a hidden sweetener.

We want it removed from foodstuff in our country.Or at the very least it should be highlighted with a warning on all products.
