Balancing ForcezCanada

To everyone who has signed, shared, or supported this movement—thank you. Your voices are the fuel behind this petition.

But this isn’t just about me. It’s about all of us—the single people, the disabled, the seniors, the working poor, the ones without children, and the ones with them. Anyone who has ever been told to just “go to a food bank” like that’s a long-term solution to a systemic failure.

Now I’m asking for your help in a different way.

I want to collect real stories—yours, your neighbour’s, your cousin’s, your coworker’s—anyone who has struggled to access food in this country. You can be anonymous or share your name. These stories will help push this movement forward, put pressure on decision-makers, and show the human faces behind the stats.

If you'd like to share your experience, you can do it here:

Whether it’s a story of skipping meals, rationing food for your kids, being turned away from services, or the emotional toll of constantly being in survival mode—I want to hear it. I want others to hear it. This is how we stir the pot—and keep the gravy hot.

We are not weak for asking for help. We are strong for surviving this long.

Let’s make some noise, Canada. Because Food Is a Right.
