Kratom is a medicinal plant with many uses and benefits, it has a long history of safe use in Asia where it also has a history of prohibition due to it competing with Thailands opium revenue. Now the pharmaceutical industry is trying to do the same and make sure they don't lose money to a safe plant that is cheaper and more effective then the poison they peddle. In the midst of the current opiate epidemic happening kratom is a possible life saver for many as it has been used to replace harder more addictive and damaging opiates for thousands of years. Just like all things it has its pro's and cons but the current "reefer madness" like propaganda is exploding them way out of proportion. The only "kratom caused deaths" have all had other factors that were overlooked so kratom could take the blame and be made out as a dangerous new drug to keep away for the children... In reality it is a medicine that has helped many in different situations, there are countless testimonials to the miraculous benefits of this plant especially for people who are:

1: Struggling with opiate addiction. Be it pain meds or heroin people have used kratom as a safe natural alternative to ween them off the much more damaging and addicting substances. In many cases people stop using kratom eventually and manage to completely ween off opiates. But when people do that the pharma industry can't keep making $ from them keeping them hooked on methadone.

2: People who have had serious injuries or illnesses. Kratom not only can aid immensely with pain and sore muscles but it can have very uplifting effects too. This is why Thailand natives use it for long work days, as a plant in the same family as coffee it has very similiar stimulating effects in the right dose, personally I find it much much more effective that coffee without nearly as much anxiety/ jitters.

3: Unlike many "drugs" kratom actually has medicinal effects and can boost the immune system instead of weakening it. It also can do wonders for anxiety/ depression even in smaller doses completely safe for daily use.

I just took my first few days off kratom after months of 2-3x daily use and I had literally no negative side effects... Sugar is harder for me to stay away from is junk food and vegging out on tv/ electronics. Kratom in no way deserves being scheduled at all let alone the most dangerous classification reserved for hard drugs with "no medicinal benefit. By ignoring the millions of people that have positively benefited from kratoms plethora of medicinal effects the DEA has proven they do not care for our well being whatsoever. This is clearly a move to keep kratom from competing with the many many products it essentially renders pointless due to being a cheaper natural alternative... Please do not let this happen, thank you!
