Every year, millions of cats, dogs, and other animals are used to test medical products. The animals almost always suffer in the experiments and are usually killed at the end by cruel means. What's worse is that these poor animals do not get any form of pain relief. Despite most medicine being tested on animals, about 90% of drugs fail in clinical trials on humans, even though the animal tests said the drugs worked. There are cheaper and more effective alternatives to animal experimentation, such as human organ cells on special chips and even human volunteers, yet scientists don't utilize them. Let's change that.
