Hey Guys!

Good news: VeraCept, a new IUD option, is being researched in the US!  Its looks incredibly promising!  Hopefully it will be approved quickly because it's an update on something that already exists. 

Key points about VeraCept:  There's significantly less copper used, so the hope is that there will be less symptoms of heavy bleeding and cramping; The frame is a thin nickel "memory" design, so it will be more flexible and smaller in size; and the introductory tube is smaller because the device is smaller, which should mean less pain upon insertion.  Fingers crossed that the trials go well!
