Lots of stuff we buy  (biscuits, chocolates, chips etc.) comes in "Metallized Plastic" packaging material. We can easily identify this because the wrappers have plastic on the outside and are shiny on the inside. Recycling this material is very complicated and costly. Eventually, all such wrappers end up in landfills. This is extremely detrimental to the environment. Even gift-wrapping paper that is shiny on one side is of the same material.

If the companies that sell these products use only eco-friendly packaging such as paper, then we will be able to address the root cause and thereby solve the problem.
