On March 26, 2019, the European Parliament passed the Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market, which includes the controversial Article 13 (now known as Article 17), infamous for the fact that it will force online platforms such as YouTube to install upload filters to scan and delete every piece of copyrighted material at the moment of upload, as well as the fact that it will put an end to online freedom and expression, including memes, remixes, fan art, etc. Then, on April 15, 2019, the European Council has voted in favor of the Copyright Directive, meaning that countries in the European Union have two years to make their own versions of the Copyright Directive.

FlyingKitty, a YouTuber who makes YTPs, has been known for making "parody sequels" of existing songs, including Despacito, as well as collaborating with PewDiePie on his version of the universally-panned YouTube Rewind 2018. He recently made a "parody sequel" to PewDiePie's most recent song, "Congratulations", the former which currently has 3 million views.

Next, FlyingKitty should make a remix/parody sequel of Grandayy's "Robocopyright", a rap song criticising Article 13/17. Why? Because many of his remixes, including "Despacito 2", have reached more than 10 million views, with the latter currently having almost 60 million views as of writing this. This makes the chances of a potential "Robocopyright 2" very likely to reach a lot of views. Plus, this would spread awareness of Article 13/17 and the Copyright Directive to those who don't know about them. Plus, the CEO of YouTube believes that we can still influence Article 13/17 in some way before it is written into law.
