This update seeks to peel back another layer of the complicated tactics La Luz del Mundo (LLDM) uses to sneak their way into our town. We once again should discuss the large advertisement Mr. Jack Freeman took out in the Gainesville Times, boasting about the “good neighbor” that LLDM would be for Flowery Branch and Hall County. His paid publication read:
“We hope to fulfill our plans to create a hospitable church and neighborhood for people to call home”
and
“We will be an open community that promotes a quality way of life, cultivates a safe and peaceful environment, and provides opportunities for employment, education, recreation, and worship”
On the surface, it seems rather like a fairy tale – the perfect neighbor, abundance of job opportunities, and peaceful environment. However the truth is quite different. This type of double narrative is what LLDM, Naason Joaquin Garcia, Jack Freeman, and a host of other leaders are best at – painting a deceiving picture to get what they want.
Jack Freeman networks with our community and speaks highly of our town to our City officials, but behind closed doors he preaches that Flowery Branch is the ENEMY of the LLDM organization. Do we really think LLDM is an organization that will contribute to peace and tranquility of our town if they are being indoctrinated against us? Let’s unravel the tangled web of deception that LLDM is attempting to hide from the residents of Flowery Branch and Hall County.
On August 2, 2018 Jack Freeman gave a sermon to his members about being ready for “battle”. Who might you ask is this battle against? The “battle” he tells them ….is against Georgia.
In this video, he calls our community racist. He tells these members that we are calling them names, that we have referred to him as a Benedict Arnold, and that he is a traitor to his race. Those are LIES that he is telling, and sadly he preys upon their [already in-place] victim mentality and tells them they have to prepare for ’war’. He knows that they will believe anything he says. Interestingly enough, no one had heard publicly about the land purchase and plans of coming here until after this message was given from behind the pulpit. They are being indoctrinated that our concerns stem from racial bias.
We know who we are and know we are a welcoming community and always have been. From the beginning of our opposition we made it clear this has nothing to do with race and everything to do with city infrastructure and resources. Jack Freeman was giving these members misinformation and stirring up strife months before we the residents, even knew about it. So you see, LLDM makes a practice of deceit – if they do it to their own followers, why should we as outsiders think they would treat us any better?
So while Jack Freeman continues to make his rounds to the Georgia Food Bank, Humane Society, and other charities, it is only a front – to try to appear that they are something that they are not. LLDM is stirring up dissension within its members towards us. Remember, WE are the outsiders to them. They want to come in and build their city, bring their hundreds of thousands to our town, use up our streets, our resources and not give anything in return. Jack Freeman is the token for Naason Joaquin Garcia – to come in to our town and try to persuade our government into letting them do as they please. And if they are not successful in this tactic, they have an entire toolbox of tricks and strategies that they will attempt to use to push their agenda here.
The photo is of Naason Joaquin Garcia speaking last month to members in El Salvador - another location of one of his planned "cities". The masses gathered to hear him promise them a city that will bring them prosperity and blessings - with overcrowded streets packed with members who have pledged their lives, their devotion, their adherence and adoration to him. As seen on their own videos and publications, the members of this organization follow their leader blindly and obey all of his orders. Knowing this, and knowing Naason Garcia's representative Jack Freeman is inciting a "battle" against us, do we really want to bring this discord to our town?
We have to remember to VOTE this month. We have the responsibility to KNOW FOR CERTAIN what each candidate stands for. Perhaps an idea would to be a town forum for each of the candidates to speak and answer questions. The Gainesville Times has done a good job in reviews, but sometimes hearing and communicating with candidates is more effective. This is OUR town, and it is OUR responsibility to vote for the candidate that will protect our homes, families, and our infrastructure and resources. This is not a time to “let someone else do it”. If you live here, please know that YOU make a difference in our town.
This is YOUR town, too.
We need to show support for our city, county, and state government officials and encourage them to say NO to LLDM building anything here. They are preaching to be prepared for a “battle”….– we also need to be prepared to support our community and fight to safe-keep its infrastructure and resources. There is strength in numbers - it is time to put all other differences aside and protect what is ours.
Please continue to post this everywhere you can on your social media, or through email. This is so important to our community and we need to show our support and solidarity to those who will take care of our area.
Stay tuned for more updates soon. There is so much more.
