Florida's representatives should use Amendment 1 and/or Florida Forever funds to purchase the 400 acre Blue Springs property in High Springs, FL. It is a second magnitude spring with direct access to our aquifer and many Floridians feel a property like this should be in the hands of the state and not a private group.
It's time Amendment 1 gets used the way it is intended and protect our water supply.
