Please urge Florida Governor Rick Scott to become involved in the Winter Garden Animal Cruelty investigation being conducted by the Orange County Sherriff's Department.  Not only was Pike the ONLY victim to be removed and immediately euthanized due to his sustained injuries, a floating corpse of another dog was found in a swamp bordering the Winter Garden property.  Between the many discrepancies in paperwork and lack of interest in the welfare of the remaining animals left on the property, it is clear higher authority is needed to carry this case out correctly.  Pike lost his life because of the monsters at Winter Garden, please don't let his memory fade away without bringing awareness to the weak laws in place concerning animal welfare.  Without our help, the remaining victims may end up like Pike if they are lucky, but most of us know where their fate lies if cases such as these are not handled as they should be.
