Hi Everyone, My son D'Quan Armstrong,  was riding a bike when he got killed. The man who killed him only got sentenced 5 yrs. in Prison for leaving the scene. This guy was driving on suspended license, and this wasn't his first time getting caught driving with suspended license. Not only was he driving with suspended License, he was also speeding down a residential area.  My son flew off the bike and landed in a ditch, since the impact from the car was so hard. The guy never stop to help, nor call the police after he hit D'Quan. My son died in that ditch, while his killer fled the scene. D'Quan was only 14yrs. old and his killer left him to die.  Florida needs to change the Hit and Run Laws resulting in death. There are too many Hit and Run cases in Florida. I feel like Hit and Run cases should get treated , like a Murder case.  When you leave the scene of a accident and the person dies, that is Murder.
