The road is completely unsafe. There are no sidewalks and few lights. There is a ditch on the south side between Bliss and Las Vegas. Traffic speeds up and down this section of road and it's unsafe for bicyclist to ride this section of road. Now with school back in session children will have to also walk or ride their bikes on this road. I have wrecked in the ditch riding and my fiancee just wrecked on this section of road. There is also a cross on the corner of bliss and proctor so at least one life has been lost there. There are bike lanes or sidewalks on most all roads in Sarasota and this needs to be addressed. Please help us get this fixed someone else will die on this road. Thanks
