For too long, Florida medical marijuana patients have been pushed into a wall when it comes to their medicine. An extremely limited licensing procedure results in limited supply, and higher prices. As well as this, vertical integration drives the cost up by not allowing competition. With patients being allowed to grow, it would allow for affordable care options, as opposed to hundreds each month to the dispensaries.  

Patients should have the affordable option of being able to grow 6 plants. Now more than ever, this is a prevalent issue, as stock shortages state wide are more apparent than ever, with people preparing to shelter down due to COVID-19.
