The Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence has been the nonprofit that provided oversight , monitoring and technical assistance for the states 42 domestic violence shelters. Under former CEO Tiffany Carr, the organization began a scheme to take control of all state funding and take additional funds from DV Centers and their donors. 

In the past 18 months, it has been discovered that the corruption extends far beyond what was first suspected. Top Executives have been amassing millions in tax dollars while survivors went without services. The Foundation fraudulently raised funds from local sources, money that could have stayed in communities, and promised donors and centers new innovative programming. All the money went to Carr with no programs being funded in the Foundations existence. 

The DV homicide rate has continued to climb to a three year high in 2018. 

The state is seeking to remove their exclusive contract but this is not enough. We are calling on the State Attorney General to open a criminal investigation into not only FCADV but also Tiffany Carr, Sandy Burnett, Patricia Durant, Brandi Carlson and the entire Board of Directors of FCADV and the FCADV Foundation.
