People with Learning Disabilities get work placements within the community and in Council controlled placements, at the moment they get £3/4 a day "wages".

Flintshire County Council have now taken the decision to stop this payment from the end of March and our members are not happy with their decision. Would you work a 4/6 hour shift for no "wages"?

Tandem Cymru a local charity for people with learning disabilities, would like you to support our petition which we plan to hand to Flintshire County Council and hope it will change their plans to stop payments.
