FJCCI Elections 2026: Demand Transparency, Fairness & Accountability

We, the members, stakeholders and concerned members of the business community associated with the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FJCCI), appeal for a transparent, fair, impartial and accountable election process for the FJCCI Elections 2026.

This petition is not against any individual, candidate, group or office-bearer. It is an appeal to protect the credibility, dignity and democratic character of the institution and to ensure that every eligible member can participate in the election process with confidence.

Why are we raising this issue?
Certain questions and concerns have arisen regarding aspects of the FJCCI Elections 2026 process.

Where genuine questions exist concerning election procedures, voter/eligibility records, notices, nomination procedures, voting arrangements, scrutiny, counting or other aspects of the election process, members deserve clear and documented answers.

An election involving a respected business institution should leave no reasonable room for doubt regarding its fairness or transparency.

We therefore request:
1. TRANSPARENCY
All material information concerning the election process should be communicated clearly and in a timely manner to eligible members.

2. FAIRNESS
The same rules and standards should be applied consistently to every candidate and every eligible voter.

3. VERIFICATION
Where legitimate discrepancies or concerns are raised, the relevant records and procedures should be independently verified.

4. CLARIFICATION
Specific questions raised by members regarding the election process should receive clear, written and documented responses.

5. ACCOUNTABILITY
The election process should be conducted and documented in a manner that allows members to have confidence in its integrity.

6. PROTECTION OF MEMBER RIGHTS
Every eligible member should have an equal opportunity to exercise their voting rights without discrimination, procedural ambiguity or avoidable obstacles.

7. INDEPENDENT REVIEW WHERE NECESSARY
Where substantial procedural concerns remain unresolved, an appropriate independent authority or committee should examine those concerns and provide its findings.

Our simple message
We are not asking for favour to any candidate.

We are not asking for any particular election result.

We are asking for a process that every candidate, every voter and every member of FJCCI can trust.

Our Appeal
We request the concerned authorities and responsible representatives of FJCCI to:

✔ Verify disputed procedural matters
✔ Ensure equal treatment of all candidates and voters
✔ Maintain complete transparency throughout the election process
✔ Protect the credibility and reputation of FJCCI
