Another year, another game backed by broken promises.

Madden 23 was supposed to be “the most polished yet”, but here we are post launch and Franchise players continue to beg for a working game mode. What once was pleads for innovation has turned to pleads for a game mode to function properly.  EA continues to force players to lower their expectations, and Madden 23 is no different.

Here are a list (but not comprehensive) of the major issues franchise players face.

• Games not saving - Users will play full games only to find the results don’t save.
• 31/32 User bug - when a user leaves a league, commissioners can not fill the spot due to the league glitching out.
• Draft bug - Leagues are experiencing drafts reverting back to the beginning of the draft.
•  Franchise Sliders not working - Users report that adjusting Gameplay sliders didn’t affect gameplay
•  Franchise Difficulty Bug- Users can enter 32 man league franchises and play games with a different difficulty than league is set to.

This list does not include all of the issues that franchise users are facing, but it is the most commonly reported ones.

Creating a game with such major issues and not addressing the community over it should be considered criminal. Customers, yes PAYING customers, should have a fully functional game and it should be expected that the game works as intended.

It’s time EA.  Time to put your money where your mouth is and finally #fixfranchise. Give us a working game mode where we can build our teams with our communities of friends.  Communicate better with the community about timelines and addressing issues. Continue to innovate - the new free agency system and tags has been an improvement. Gameplay has been improved. keep on innovating. Or at least bringing back old features.

As the Exclusive NFL Simulation Game, EA must step up and produce a product that truly simulates the NFL, not a broken mess of code that people are unable to play how they desire. Let’s go EA. #FixFranchise
