Varner road is no longer a back road. It is one of the main access to Cathedral city and Desert Hot Springs. The current road is no longer adecuate to accomodate current traffic  This road has not been fixed in at least 20 years. It has about a mile of potholes and overall decay that represents a danger to drivers and damages car's suspensions and tires. Varner road has heavy traffic at Edom Hill due to slow trucks entering and exiting. A proper signal is overdue and additional turn lanes as well. Varner road is an alternate route to I-10. When dust storms block other roads this becomes one of  the main access for first responders and all other vehicles. Please fix Varner Road.
