Thousands of users across Twitter are facing and unfortunate bug where Twitter locks their account, and require the user to submit an email address so that they can’t regain full functionality of their account. however everyone seems to be getting hit with “this email has already been registered to another account”, which isn’t true for these users. Twitter has acknowledged that this is a bug and that they are “looking into it” but it has been weeks, months even, and nothing has been done. Many people care deeply for their Twitter accounts, including me. it is how we socialize online and gain our news. It is also how many people do their jobs annale their money!! Losing access to these accounts by a silly little bug just won’t stand.
