There are now officers helping to guide the traffic through the intersection manually!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Mayor Wil Kennedy and Iowa Colony Chief of Police Aaron Bell for making this happen! 

Things to note-

This uses a big percentage of man power from the City Police. So they will sustain when possible. I have personally recommended only manning the CVS side should push come to shove. Once the road and bridge are complete this will go away.
