I had reached out on March 12th and received a response on March 15th from mayor Wil Kennedy. He was going to look into the issue with the timing of the traffic lights with TxDot. Haven't heard back just yet so I submitted another inquiry about having an officer man the light during rush hour. This is because this is now a life safety issue, since the police station, fire and EMS are all blocked every morning during the week as a result of the traffic.
