Thousands of dedicated medical students preparing for the NEET PG 2024 exam are facing a major hurdle. They were supposed to choose their preferred exam centers between July 19th and 22nd, 2024.  However, a login issue on the NBEMS website is preventing them from doing so. These students have invested years of intense study, often dedicating 12 to 14 hours a day, for this crucial exam. The current situation is causing immense stress and anxiety, jeopardizing their years of hard work.

The inability to choose a preferred exam center has significant consequences. If the login issue isn't resolved and students miss the deadline, NBEMS will randomly assign them a center anywhere in the country. This could be a location far from their study resources, family support, or familiar surroundings, creating a major disadvantage on exam day. The stress of this uncertainty is compounding the difficulty of the NEET PG exam itself. The login issue itself is multifaceted. On launch day, July 19th, the website malfunctioned due to a Microsoft server outage. Once functional again, students were prompted to change their passwords. While this worked for some, many received "invalid credentials" messages. Both the "change password" and "forgot password" options failed to work properly. The "change password" feature didn't update credentials, and the "forgot password" option either didn't send emails/texts or sent non-functional passwords.

With the deadline approaching on July 22nd, 2024, immediate action is critical. Resolving the login issue and allowing students to select their preferred exam centers is essential for a fair and stress-free exam experience. Thousands of students' futures depend on a smooth selection process. We urge NBEMS and TCS ION services to take immediate steps to fix the login problem and ensure a level playing field for all NEET PG 2024 aspirants.
