Thank you again for signing the petition calling for a fix to the Union station lifts, which have repeatedly failed in hot weather. 

Your support has helped keep this issue on the agenda, and I want to share an update.

The issue was raised in parliament in November, and a response from the Minister responsible was due in mid-December. However, no response has been provided.

In response to questions on his Facebook page yesterday, local member Paul Hamer MP stated:

"This issue was first raised with my office last year, and I have been raising it repeatedly with the Minister and LXRP. I will continue to do so until the issue is resolved."

We need public confirmation that the issue with the lifts is resolved.
