I have lived in Spring Hill for my entire life.

As far back as I can remember there has always been these jet-skis turned into planters at the property on the corner of Spring Hill Dr. and Pinehurst Dr. Well, now after I believe 20 plus years of these landmarks being there, the county has passed a new ordinance which calls for the removal of these fun and creative planters! This property with these jet-ski planters has been used as a landmark when giving out of towners directions but it is not just the point of ppl getting lost but more importantly the fact that the government is allowed to control what we do or have on private property that bugs me the most! And not for nothing but even with everyone now a days having a phone for directions it still can be a bit confusing for people who are not as familiar with the area as most of us long timers are. Because of the way Pinehurst Dr. especially is laid out a lot of people who are new to the area believe that there are in fact 4 or 5 roads all named Pinehurst. Not to mention Linden, Landover, Lema, and the rest like this throughout our little town. So we will use landmarks such as the Pinehurst with the jet-ski planters in the corner lot or something similar in order to provide visual aid. So let's help this family keep their property the way they see fit!!

Why don't we repaint and replant them and make them look nice again like they were years ago? If so can they stay then?
