Thanks to you, the rebuilding is underway!

Thanks to Justin Tomlinson MP, it was revealed Asda would begin working on the steps starting the week commencing the 20th of February. Today, (the 22nd of February) the gate was seen open, and workers were seen surveying the steps. So, it appears that the date Asda provided for us has been met! We look forward to seeing what the next couple of weeks have to offer here.

As well as the steps, we're still unsure on the result of whether Asda's executive committee have approved the cost for the fountains. We are expecting an update from Justin regarding this in due course, so it might be the fountain construction/restoration begins once the steps are fixed.

Also, the Swindon Advertiser article on us a month or so ago attracted a few more signatures, however it could have attracted more if they had included the link to our petition in their write-up. We didn't really think much of them prior to starting this campaign, so this isn't much of a surprise, but are grateful at least that they covered it for us.
