We, the undersigned, are residents of Shalford, Bramley, Cranleigh, Merrow, Godalming, Busbridge, Ockley and the surrounding Guildford-Waverley area who are experiencing consistently poor or non-existent mobile signal, particularly on the EE network.

Issues reported include:

 • No signal or dropped calls in Shalford, on Godalming High Street, and along the Bramley High Street

 • The 5G mast at Shalford train station appears too low, with coverage not extending above the tree line towards Bramley

 • Residents in Merrow reporting they cannot make calls at all

 • Individual complaints to EE have been dismissed, with call handlers stating "no fault found" despite widespread reports from this area

We are asking: 

 1. EE (and other affected networks) to carry out an independent, on-the-ground signal survey of these areas rather than relying on remote diagnostics

 2. Investment in upgrading or repositioning the affected mast infrastructure, including the Shalford station mast

 3. Ofcom to record these areas as network "not-spots" so they are properly reflected in national coverage data
