Fix Ohio's Concealed Carry laws

Fix Ohio's Concealed Carry laws
The Issue
Ohio has constitutional carry and it's a great thing that has finally forced the State to recognize our right to defend oneself outside the home without begging for permission. The problem is in the definition of a "qualifying adult". SB215 (the law that changed Ohio's concealed carry laws for the better) is flawed. The problem? Under Ohio's weapons under disability law the only felons barred from owning firearms are those with violent or drug felonies. But those with non drug and non violent felonies are allowed to do so. Yet Ohio decided that these people who are allowed to own firearms, may not take advantage of their fundamental right to carry a firearm concealed outside the home. The purpose of this petition is to get the Ohio Attorney General to undo this grave injustice as it won't withstand a challenge to it under the text, history, and tradition standard set forth in NYSRPA v Bruen. I am but one of many Ohioans who are impacted by this unjust and unconstitutional provision within an other good law. My only felony? Carrying a concealed handgun without a license. An activity that is now legal. If you too see the error in the Statehouses judgement, please sign and share with as many people as possible. Our objective it to get them to strike the requirements of being a qualifying adult the term felon and the not having 922G1 being applicable. They can keep weapons under disability as that pertains to actually dangerous people. Basically as long as weapons under disability isn't applicable then you can carry is the goal.
