The intersection of Milford Road and Silver Lake Road here in Dingmans Ferry, PA has been described as a "death trap" by residents. It is awkwardly shaped and dangerous to turn on unless you're a local who is used to it. The Township of Delaware has responded to this by merely installing larger stop signs, though this neglects the root problem, the design on the intersection itself.

The solution this petition proposes is as follows: The township should acquire eminent domain over 992 Milford Road, 982 Milford Road, and 221 Silver Lake Road and utilize the land to create a better road design. 992 Milford Road is already an abandoned building, so there would be no negative effect there.
