Our campaign will FAIL if we continue to struggle to gain traction outside the United Kingdom!

We have struggled to gain traction outside the United Kingdom, and although we have reached 531 signatures (exactly 20 short of our next goal and pretty much level with the bin strike petition), over 500 of those signatures originate entirely within our home country. While I did change the scope to ‘Local – London’ as a temporary measure to quickly reach and surpass the 500 signature milestone, before that even under the original ‘Global’ scope, over 90% of signatures were entirely domestic.
We have just 7 signatures from the US and Australia combined, and ABSOLUTELY NOBODY in New Zealand, Canada, South Africa AND even our nearest neighbour/neighbor, The Republic of Ireland, has seen/signed this petition!
On the plus side, my spinoff meta-petition against change.org’s unfair national geofencing reached its 100 signature milestone yesterday, so I am celebrating, as the platform severely disadvantages and penalises users without social media like myself.
This is not the first “international” campaign I have run which has fallen short of international traction and this campaign is just as international as Ashford International station in Kent (which has not seen a single international Eurostar service since the “boring year” 2020). Since our last update, we did pick up a third supporter in Ashford, and the first supporter to sign this petition from there signed on the “Alice date” (April 5th) itself!
An inactive side project from 2024 which I created aiming to reform the US election system, completely failed to reach a single supporter in the US despite the campaign’s topic so I have effectively been penalised for living in the UK and not having access to any social media accounts.
While we do have domestic sub-goals under Goal #2 (lack of recognition) such as forcing UK retailers to keep Easter eggs for longer in large gap years, urging UK parks and other venues to bring back Easter egg hunts/trails (along with traditional Maypole dancing) for Orthodox Easter, reforming UK bank holidays, reforming the educational system in Scotland and getting the rarity of the Gregorian March 22nd date debated in the UK House of Commons. A staggering 97%/3% UK/international ratio means this campaign will ultimately fail by design if we cannot get the international support we desperately need!
This is my 67th official campaign update, and because I am entirely LOCKED OUT of using social media to share my petition, I URGENTLY NEED ALL OF YOUR HELP and for my subscribed base to share the petition on international feeds, or if any of you have friends/family living overseas, to forward the link from there. I am doubly disadvantaged as I campaign completely independently from my family, and nobody in my family has other friends or family members living overseas.
I only have two major campaigns which have a tendency to gain natural traction without my active promotion, and that is both the joke petition to stop the days from getting shorter and the very one I intentionally froze/deliberately sabotaged at 233 and 241 signatures when this campaign’s signature count got stuck.
Unless we can get this campaign out of British borders, our progress is going nowhere despite amassing over 500 signatures. Yesterday was “100 day” for my spinoff meta-petition, and is the first serious campaign to reach that milestone since we did back in March.
The random signature from Myanmar on my US election petition is actually my 253rd signature and I've shared my March 22nd 2026 Easter story in updates on some of my other petitions which have international signatures which this campaign has failed to reach (such as Singapore and Canada).
I signed this petition below for stay-at-home mothers to be paid as my own mother was a stay-at-home mother after "retiring" and giving birth to myself at the age of 26, because it os obvious that stay-at-home parent should be paid. I only later realised that this was an Australian petition so I later went back and added a supporter comment saying "speaking from the United Kingdom" so the user (Sherryn Clarke) DOESN'T HAVE TO CHECK HER CSV SPREADSHEETS to know she has successfully secured a signature all the way from the other side of the world (the United Kingdom), and will also see that I chipped in in British pounds to promote the campaign!

My lack of social media is my biggest obstacle, I quite simply do not have a Facebook, X, or Instagram account so am entirely dependent of chipping in to get my campaign seen by the public.
We will shortly start the dreaded Phase Three, and will post my next (68th) update whenever necessary. My first international targeting region will sensibly be Dublin, Ireland due to Ireland's close proximity to the UK and our existing supporters with Irish accents from Belfast and island or Ireland, before exotic locations like South Africa and New Zealand.
