We had a 26th organic international signature – sadly, however, it was removed!

It’s been a few days since you probably got the automatic platform message confirming the big milestone, “500 day” occurred on Thursday 3rd September and our campaign timeline below shows our progress:
- Launch day – February 27th
- 100 signatures – March 25th
- 200 signatures – April 13th
- 300 signatures – May 9th
- 400 signatures – June 18th
- 500 signatures – September 3rd
Our 500th signature came in, organically and internationally, so we had a 26th international signature from Las Vegas until yesterday (one for each letter of the alphabet). Sadly, however, either the user manually removed it or it was rendered invalid by the system, so out of just over 500 signatures, our international tally still stands at just 25 signatures, CLEARLY DEFEATING the purpose and core goal of my entire mission to fix the date of Easter to March 22nd for upcoming decades and using change.org without social media quite literally is a campaigning disability!
Users on change.org with social media accounts can easily bypass the system’s hidden IP address national restrictions, campaign for free and reach signature milestones like 500 signatures within days which they probably take for granted. Because I am completely locked out of using such accounts, I have had to chip in thousands of pounds and six gruelling months of hard work just to reach this milestone, so change.org’s system is COMPLETELY RIGGED and relies wholly on users to share their petitions, which is inherently unfair to users like myself!
On the brighter side, according to my petition dashboard, my latest signature came from my last change.org email update, which proves I STILL have supporters subscribed to my emails – my biggest fear was that some supporters may have opted out of my email updates due to my use of profanity and foul language during an angry July 2026 campaign update. I also (if I decide to extend Phase Two on our current scope given that we already have 25 international supporters), could surpass Emma Tucker’s bin strike petition and win the competitive signature race!
https://www.change.org/p/the-prime-minister-to-act-in-the-birmingham-bin-dispute?source_location=search – This is the other Birmingham bin strike petition that I overtook, and I chipped in to help as it got completely stuck at 435 signatures, which is now sitting at 439.
I was NEVER angry with you (my supporters), I was angry with how the platform restricted my campaign’s reach while happily accepting my promotional ‘chip-in’ money and have been forced to rely entirely on chipping in due to my lack of social media pages. I also believe change.org deliberately does not display a live geographic breakdown next to the signature counter to trick campaigners into believing they are running an international movement only to discover it is actually domestic!
One of my recent signatures symbolically came from Didcot, exactly where I would force my father to drive past and detour on car journeys from London to South Wales to mirror the Great Western Main Line so that is very symbolic due to my past neurodivergent fixation with rail and aviation corridors.
When I created this petition back in February, I explicitly stated at the time on my petition page that “someone in Australia can access and sign my petition”, only to discover three months into the campaign that JUST TWO people have done exactly that, and absolutely NOBODY in New Zealand, Canada, South Africa or EVEN the Republic of Ireland (our nearest neighbor/neighbour) has signed!
Of my “shameful seven” target nations, I have detailed my geographic breakdown below:
- United Kingdom: 476 total signatures
- United States: 5 total signatures (was 6 until yesterday, sadly)
- Australia: 2 total signatures
- Canada: 0 total signatures - FAIL
- South Africa: 0 total signatures - FAIL
- New Zealand: 0 total signatures – FAIL
- Republic of Ireland: 0 total signatures - FAIL
Because I lack and am completely locked out of using social media accounts, I urgently need all of you (my subscribed supporters) to share this petition on international feeds for me however I discourage you from chipping in as the system will continue looping the campaign back to UK user feeds.
Unless I get the international traction I so desperately and URGENTLY need, this campaign will fail and we will all literally turn to dust before we can experience an official Gregorian March 22nd Western Easter!
change.org needs to openly admit that both its local and global scope are national, not global or local, and not hide this shocking truth from users while happily accepting promotional ‘chip-in’ money. The global scope is geofenced too much and the local scope is not geofenced enough!
I don’t want other future neurodivergent change.org users without social media to have the same negative experience as me in believing they are running a global movement, only to discover months later that their traction is actually domestic.
Just like in large gap years between Western and Orthodox Easter with the true issue being blatant lack of recognition instead of the calendar gap itself, my UK supporters themselves are not the issue at all as you all helped me during a difficult spring - the real issue is the platform’s use of IP address national restrictions and currency filters (with the platform deliberately hiding the truth) which has resulted in a lack of global reach and some of my existing supporters have signed both this and my new spin-off campaign.
While it is my fault that I don’t have social media besides the change.org platform itself, I am systemically disadvantaged compared to campaign creators who have social media due to the platform’s over-reliance on social media shares. The 'chip-in' tool is often seen as supplementary for users with social media, however for users without social media like myself, the 'chip-in' tool is my only lifeline to get my campaign seen by the public.
I will post my next update whenever necessary, but will wait a few days to make sure it triggers an email!
