Friends, in case you are not up to date with the many recent positive changes sweeping across the DOB, here's some exciting news for you!
~ DOB NOW just got a new front page with a streamlined layout for easier navigation this Monday, November 7. The new layout is mobile-friendly, so the Public Portal can now be accessed on a mobile device.
~ In addition to easier navigation and improved user experience, the new landing page also includes a new "Building on My Block / Zoning Challenge" search tool - to easily find new development projects in specific neighborhoods which are currently eligible for a zoning challenge. This is an important feature!
Other positive change which was brought to the attention of the tech team thanks to our petition and are currently either in the works or already resolved;
~ Updates within DOB NOW Inspections to reflect in DOB NOW Build in real time, as opposed to overnight
~ The ability to use DOB NOW Inspections with Chrome not only with Internet Explorer (which Microsoft stopped supporting)
~ The ability to download from DOB NOW Inspections attachment section (all attachments)
Good things happen when we speak up coherently, and connect with the right individuals, thank G-d!
STAY TUNED and let us know about additional concerns to be addressed!
