The Issue Isn’t Politics—It’s Survival When I started this petition, it wasn’t about political parties or pointing fingers. It was about a simple question: How can people be expected to survive when the cost of living keeps rising, but disability benefits and other fixed incomes don’t keep up? Every day, people are making impossible choices between groceries, utilities, medication, and keeping a roof over their heads. No matter where you stand politically, I think we can all agree that people who are disabled or living on fixed incomes shouldn’t have to choose between basic necessities.
