There is a petition to stop the Los Altos City Council from building a park where downtown Los Altos has parking. Los Altos has great parking and I would like it to stay that way. Los Altos already has great parks and does not need more. 

The petition needs 3,000 signatures from people who live in Los Altos. People are collecting at Draegers in Los Altos from 4 pm to 6 pm. If there is enough signatures, it would go on the ballot for people to vote on this matter instead of letting the city council decide for everyone.
