We’re excited to have you onboard in this important effort to repeal the death tax that was hidden inside Proposition 19. HJTA’s new initiative will repeal the death tax and restore the ability of parents or grandparents to transfer property to children without triggering a reassessment and a huge tax increase.

 We’re holding an online Zoom meeting to welcome all our volunteers on Friday, September 10, at 3:00 p.m., and you are cordially invited. HJTA president Jon Coupal and Legislative Director Scott Kaufman will have an update on the progress of the initiative and will answer your questions about the work ahead to qualify it for the November 2022 ballot.
