This THURSDAY, March 2nd, 2023 at 9:30 AM, it is time for ALL softball players to make it known to the Rec & Parks Commission that the Basin Fields are dangerous and must be fixed NOW. This means more than mere maintenance and rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. It means structural restoration to use mesh to keep the gophers/squirrels out and proper drainage where there currently is none.
You are not wasting your time if you do: At the Commission’s last meeting 2 weeks ago, in response to several of us calling in, the President of the Commission asked a report to be made about the softball fields.
HERE ARE THE DETAILS:
The meeting is this THURSDAY, MARCH 2 at 9:30 am. It is Item #4
