The Issue

For years now, the residents of Broad View Shores in Provo, UT, have been dealing with a major inconvenience – the deplorable condition of 3100 West. As one of the main roads leading into our community, 3100 West is nothing but dirt, filled with pot holes, and practically undrivable. Despite numerous complaints and our unwavering status as tax-paying citizens of Provo, it seems like nothing is being done about it.

Our community deserves roads that are safe and drivable, much like those in other parts of the city. Navigating through 3100 West shouldn’t be an exercise in avoiding multiple car repairs or dangerous situations, especially considering the road’s significance to our daily lives. The condition of this road not only impacts our vehicles but poses significant risks to pedestrians, cyclists, and the overall safety of our neighborhood.

Moreover, the situation on Geneva Road also demands urgent attention. The current width of the road is not sufficient, and there's a dire need for sidewalks. With the increasing traffic, it’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt due to the lack of adequate pedestrian pathways. Improving these roads is not just a requirement but a necessity for the safety and wellbeing of all Provo residents.

We urge the city of Provo to prioritize fixing 3100 West by paving it properly and addressing the persistent issues with Geneva Road by widening it and adding sidewalks. Our community’s safety, convenience, and quality of life depend on these improvements. Sign this petition to call on the relevant authorities to take immediate action, ensuring that all residents of Provo can enjoy safe and accessible roads.
