The last day of operation on the 17A will be Saturday 3rd September. After this date, residents in Willsbridge, Oldland Common, North Common, and Cadbury Heath will have NO service to Southmead Hospital. From Monday 5th September, operating Monday to Friday only (not Saturday or Sunday or Public Holidays), there will be an "interim" service, running until November, between North Common and Keynsham. This service will be numbered the 19B. It will only operate between 10am and 2pm - so it will not be operating when it's needed the most - for example, getting people to/from work, and to/from college (many students used the 17A to get to Keynsham in order to travel on Service 349/38/39 from Keynsham to St Brendan's Sixth Form College). Please see the image within this update - it's the timetable for the 19B (starting from Monday 5th September). This is a temporary service until the launch of the 19A to Bath via Keynsham in November. ==== How do I get around? TRAVELLING TO/FROM KEYNSHAM: - Between 10am and 2pm, you can use Service 19B that operates from North Common to Keynsham. - Outside of these hours: You will need to catch Service 19 or 42 to Kingswood, then Service 17 to Keynsham. - Alternatively, you will need to walk to the nearest bus stop served by the 17. - A further alternative, although it will require a costlier Bristol Outer ticket, is using Service 19 to the Chelsea Road bus stop in Bath (3 stops before Victoria Park) then catching Service 38/39 from Newbridge Road to Keynsham. TRAVELLING TO SOUTHMEAD HOSPITAL: - You will need to use Service 19 or Service 42 to Kingswood, then use Service 17 to Southmead Hospital. ===== Thank you for your time again, Scott.
