Send the Ahmad children home.
The Issue
On the 15th of July 2016, our daughter, Maira Ahmad, fell from her high chair and suffered internal bleeding. She was in hospital for three months. During this time she was in icu first three weeks and we was told she had little to no chance of survival. Even at one point being recommended to switch the machines off. She's now doing amazingly and is active as ever with only weakness on her left side which is developing.
Despite my eldest daughter, Saira Ahmad, witnessing and confirming exactly how the incident took place, social work placed our child into care of our extended family. This was due to doctors suspicions in regards to how maira received her injuries. We have been open and honest and advised we would never harm our children. She was in the chair less than two minutes we hadn't belted her in because we was just putting some dishes down less than two meters away from her and she climbed out and fell.
Despite neither Saira nor Maira, having had any previous injuries, marks on their bodies, ever being taken A&E or anything negative at all coming up from their investigations, social servicea are still not sending the children home and have placed the matter into the hands of the sheriff courts. Police interviewed in excess of 70 people and nothing negative or bad was said about us as people or a family.
We have tried dealing with social work and told them we have an open door policy and they can check on the kids day and night, or even put them on a child protection order and let them stay with us but to no avail. Our oldest daughter Saira cries and misses her home and has become very distraught in all this. Please help us get our children back and unite our family.
