Scott Walker has retained his position at Las Vegas Academy as principal for 9 years. As a consequence, students have been affected by racism, sexism, and erasure of abuse for almost a decade. He has allegedly allowed multiple teachers to remain in positions of power after being informed of student concerns. He has a past of direct conflict with student-run queer and feminist clubs. It is time that this school move forward with a principal that is interested in the students care and learning, and not focused on funding and awards.
