Professor Geoffrey Miller stated the following on Twitter:

“Dear obese PhD applicants:  If you don’t have the willpower to stop eating carbs, you won’t have the willpower to do a dissertation. #truth.”

Professor Geoffrey Miller's comment was discriminatory, bigoted, and ignorant.

Professor Geoffrey Miller should be fired from his position at University of New Mexico because based on his own statement, he can't be trusted anymore to fairly judge applicants for graduate studies with him.

How's an overweight student going to feel if she applies to do a Ph.D. with Professor Geoffrey Miller and is rejected?  She could sue the university for discrimination.
