Ejiro Evero has proven to be an abysmal defensive coordinator, and he should have been fired in the offseason. Choosing to play a bend-don’t-break defense against Matthew Stafford in the most important game the Panthers have played in the last ten years was unacceptable. Then we start this season with another defensive disaster.

The Panthers have the defensive talent to get the job done. What we’re missing is leadership and accountability. We cannot waste another season watching a talented defense underperform because the person pulling the strings refuses to change.

I don’t want another 10 years of mediocrity. It’s time for the Panthers to move on from Ejiro Evero.
