Baltimore Orioles Manager Brandon Hyde led the Orioles to consecutive postseason appearances in 2023 and 2024 which marked the first time that the club made the postseason in consecutive years since 1996 and 1997. Unfortunately, he has not won a playoff series nor a playoff game going 0-5 in October.

In 2023, Brandon Hyde got Manager of the Year after leading his team to an AL East title and a 101-61 record which got the Orioles home field advantage throughout the 2023 MLB Postseason. They did not get swept in any series the entire season which was a record! The bats went crazy all year as well as the starting pitching was very strong the whole year as well! They were swept by the Texas Rangers in the ALDS Best-of-5 series losing 3-2, 11-8, and 7-1 getting outscored 21-11 in the 3 games they lost. There pitching did not show up but at least the bats did ok in hitting a couple home runs and getting lots of extra base hits. This was an inexperienced postseason Orioles team that had lots of young guys and young hitters.

In 2024, the Orioles had a strong start to the season going 49-25 after June 20, 2024 and last leading the AL East on September 6 by 0.5 games that day. They collapsed in the second half of the season going 33-33 to end the season at 91-71 which was enough to make the playoffs and get the No. 4 seed in the 2024 MLB Postseason. Brandon Hyde made some bad in-game decision making in the second half of the season that caused the Orioles to only go .500. Once again, they were swept but this time against the Kansas City Royals in the AL Wild Card Best-of-3 series losing only 1-0 and 2-1. The pitching did it's part while the bats went quiet in both games. The only run the Orioles scored was a Cedric Mullins home run in Game 2 that tied the game 1-1 before they couldn't score another run with bases loaded and only 1 out. These losses have put Brandon Hyde's managerial job in major jeopardy.

2025 has been a rough start for Brandon Hyde and the Orioles. They are 6-9 as of April 15 where they lost to the Blue Jays 7-6 in 10 innings on Sunday which really put Brandon Hyde's job in doubt. His managerial job was on thin ice after a 4-1 loss to the Royals on April 6. On April 20, his team lost 24-2 to the Reds on Easter and that meant that Hyde will “1000%” be fired after the game.

On May 17, Brandon Hyde got fired after a disastorous 15-28 start to the season after they left 15 men on base against the Nationals to lose 4-3. Tony Mansolino will take over as the interm manager and is a HUMONGOUS UPGRADE over Brandon Hyde.

It is time for a change in Baltimore and it starts with GM Mike Elias firing Brandon Hyde. He brang a lot to this organization helping them through their rebuild years from the worst team in baseball to an AL East title and getting Manager of the Year in 2023. Since the second half of the 2024 season, he has been an awful manager not starting the right lineup and constantly has also had bad pitching and sometimes batting during this span. Orioles GM Mike Elias needs to make these changes if the Orioles want to win a playoff series and bring a 4th World Series trophy back to Baltimore and not let our city suffer through 41 years of not winning the World Series! If this happens, our city won't suffer anymore and we will win the World Series for Baltimore and celebrate our wonderful Baltimore Orioles! Lets go do this this before the 2025 MLB Trade Deadline!
