When Coach Neal Brown was hired at West Virginia University we were told to “Trust the Climb.” Many Mountaineers gave him a chance because he has a good attitude which was a nice change from the previous coach. After 3 years of promising better, getting perhaps the best quarterback we have had since Will Grier, we witnessed our team lose to perennial bottom dweller Kansas. There is no climb to be trusted, he gets good recruits and transfers but has no idea how to coach them. The time for regime change has come, Neal Brown has to go. He has taken our football team to a lower step than what we have ever been before. I love my Mountaineers and want to see them succeed in every sport. I think it is very easy to see that Neal Brown does not have what it takes to succeed as our head coach and it is time for a change.
