Purdue fans have seen enough.

Kevin Kane has already been part of one of the worst defensive seasons in Purdue football history. In 2024, Purdue went 1–11 while the defense ranked last in the Big Ten in total defense (452.7 yards/game), scoring defense (39.9 points/game), rushing defense (200.0 yards/game), and passing defense (252.7 yards/game). The defense also forced only five turnovers all season. (Sports Reference)

Now, after returning to Purdue as defensive coordinator, the same problems are continuing. In Purdue’s first Big Ten game of 2026, UCLA put up 645 total yards and 52 points against the Boilermakers.

This is no longer about one bad game. The numbers show a pattern of defensive failure.

Purdue football needs accountability and a new direction on defense. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Give this team and program a chance and until Kane is gone that will never happen!

We are asking Purdue University to fire Kevin Kane as defensive coordinator.
